Endoftheamericandream.com listed 19 accurate facts about Illegal Immigration and the reality of them. It is true that most drugs are imported in from other countries, a main one being Mexico, and it is also true that Illegal Immigrants have added on to the gang numbers in America.
Many people support Illegal Immigration saying they help our economy, doing work that would otherwise be unaccomplished. It shouldn't even matter if they help or not, because you always have to turn around and realize that illegal immigrants are, well, illegal. It doesn't matter how you get the money, as long as you have it, right? Wrong. Any person with a decent amount of morals should come to that conclusion. Before you call me heartless or cruel, I should remind you that I'm not against immigration, just illegal immigration. It's not like America is closed off to people on the outside, there is a way to become a citizen. To become one of us. But either people are impatient, have an urgent situation, or just don't care come over illegally, skipping the people who are doing it right by the tests and paperwork. The tests are their to help us Americans, to prevent dangerous people from crossing the border.
For the most part, I agree with the point that the author of endoftheamericandream.com is trying to prove, but not entirely. He refers to the illegal immigrants as bad people, sure, what they are doing isn't right, but that doesn't mean they are bad person. Also, he categorizes to them as thieves, rapists, gang members, drug dealers, and the rather rude term "aliens". I believe that people should be aloud to join us in America, and in easier ways for people in urgent situations.
If you do the math and look at the statistics there are over 11.5 million illegal immigrants live in the US, 57%from Mexico. The issue of illegal immigrants is becoming to large for the government to handle it, so who's going to?

I totally agree with your pint of view. I also think that immigrants should be allowed to come to the U.S. legally because not all of them are rapists, drug dealers, and thieves. In fact, the authors of endoftheamericandream.com are stereotyping immigrants as these things. They just come here for a better life to get away from whatever prejudice or persecution they may be facing. While I read your post, I kept thinking about the Pilgrims. They emigrated from England looking for better lives in the United States, which is exactly what immigrants nowadays are doing. The pilgrims even took the land that originally belonged to the Native Americans. We Americans think that the immigrants are taking our land and jobs, but they are really not. I do not think that it is a bad thing to let immigrants into the U.S.. However, they should go through the process of getting a visa so they can come here legally.
