Many people support Illegal Immigration saying they help our economy, doing work that would otherwise be unaccomplished. It shouldn't even matter if they help or not, because you always have to turn around and realize that illegal immigrants are, well, illegal. It doesn't matter how you get the money, as long as you have it, right? Wrong. Any person with a decent amount of morals should come to that conclusion. Before you call me heartless or cruel, I should remind you that I'm not against immigration, just illegal immigration. It's not like America is closed off to people on the outside, there is a way to become a citizen. To become one of us. But either people are impatient, have an urgent situation, or just don't care come over illegally, skipping the people who are doing it right by the tests and paperwork. The tests are their to help us Americans, to prevent dangerous people from crossing the border.
For the most part, I agree with the point that the author of endoftheamericandream.com is trying to prove, but not entirely. He refers to the illegal immigrants as bad people, sure, what they are doing isn't right, but that doesn't mean they are bad person. Also, he categorizes to them as thieves, rapists, gang members, drug dealers, and the rather rude term "aliens". I believe that people should be aloud to join us in America, and in easier ways for people in urgent situations.
If you do the math and look at the statistics there are over 11.5 million illegal immigrants live in the US, 57%from Mexico. The issue of illegal immigrants is becoming to large for the government to handle it, so who's going to?
